The Minister’s announcement also includes updates on the first round of the Sustainability Contestable Fund, in which nearly $2.5 million has been allocated to support projects at 53 schools around New Zealand.
Minister Hipkins also noted that of the $400 million School Investment Package announced in December, projects at 149 schools, worth $23.67 million, have now got the go-ahead.
Construction projects at over 250 schools around New Zealand are now restarting, along with several projects which will begin construction for the first time.
